Benjamin Franklin: In Search of a Better World

The Orland Park Public Library is honored to be one of forty libraries nationwide to host the national traveling exhibit "Benjamin Franklin: In Search of a Better World." The exhibit, which will be on display on the second floor of the library, runs from December 16, 2009 through February 19, 2010. This exhibit is based on a major exhibition of the same title, which was on display at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia. The 1,000 square foot exhibition will consist of six sections of colorful, freestanding photo-panels incorporating representations of artifacts from the original Franklin exhibition, and new text written by the curator.
