Library Board Seats up for Election

On the Consolidated Election ballot, April 1, 2025, there will be two seats on the seven-member Orland Park Public Library board up for election. Candidacy information for those considering running is available on the following website: https://www.elections.il.gov/

Click Running For Office for the 2025 Candidate’s Guide and other information. A copy of the 2025 Candidate’s Guide is also available at the Patron Services Desk located on the 1st floor of the library.

The seats are six-year terms. The Orland Park Public Library board meetings are held at 7 p.m. on the third Monday of each month. Attendance at special meetings held throughout the year may be required.

Candidates must file their petitions at the Clerk’s Office of the Village of Orland Park located at 14700 South Ravinia Avenue, Orland Park, IL 60462.

The filing period is between November 12–18, 2024.
