All due dates on items due between March 16 and May 31 have been moved to June 1. This does not affect online items, like ebooks.



OPPLCon: A Celebration of Pop Culture
All Ages

Saturday, July 20 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.


Kids, teens, and adults: immerse yourself in pop culture!

All your favorites are returning, including Artists’ Alley, superhero training, storytime, the costume parade, and more!

New fun this year is a Royal Tea Party with some special guests, a scavenger hunt, and a video game extravaganza that starts with a Super Smash Bros.
Tournament on Friday night and an afternoon of free play on Saturday.
Kids that visit multiple activities and programs that day can collect badges and be eligible for some great prizes!
Family friendly costumes are encouraged and always welcome!




Gotta Collect Them All!


  • Make a card at the Cards for Kids table
  • Complete Superhero Training
  • Complete a craft at the Craft Table
  • Complete the I-Spy Room
  • Complete the Scavenger Hunt
  • Attend the Royal Tea Party
  • Attend the special Storytime

Collect a button from any of these activities to earn drawing tickets towards some great prizes!

Kids, pick up your special booklet from the main table when you arrive and get to work!

Buttons can be received from the staff members in the location of the activity. There are seven possible buttons and you may collect them all, but you may only receive a maximum of six (6) drawing tickets. Buttons are available as long as supplies last – they may be replaced with another object if needed.


Royal Tea Party

Join us and some of your favorite characters for a tea party fit for royalty! All children are welcome – there will be a craft to make and plenty of fun to be had! Juice and cookies will be provided.

Cards for Kids

Cards for Hospitalized Kids (CFHK) is an internationally recognized charitable organization that spreads hope, joy & magic to hospitalized kids through uplifting, handmade cards. Stop by the table during the event to make your card, or a few, and bring some joy to these kids!
