Study Rooms are available in the Adult and Youth Services Departments on a first come, first served basis. For adult study rooms, please inquire at the Adult Reference Desk on the second floor. No reservations are taken.
The study rooms are for use by individuals for quiet study. Library study rooms may not be used for tutoring services. Please wear a face covering in the study rooms at all times.
Due to the unprecedented demand for study rooms by residents of Orland Park and to social distancing requirements, study rooms will be limited to use by only Village of Orland Park residents and/or Orland Park Public Library cardholders.
Based on the square footage of these rooms, per the CDC, only 1 patron can be in each room at a time.
Due to the high demand, and the need to sanitize regularly, study rooms will be available for 2 hours on a first come, first served basis.
Social distancing, the 2 hour rule, and the residency rule apply to all study rooms in the library including first floor and second floor study rooms.
New Addition: Two Study Rooms in the Teen Loft are available only to Orland Park residents teens who must show proper ID. Teens are allowed 2 hours to use the study rooms. No extra time will be given.
