Technology Services
The library offers internet computers and printers, wireless internet access, classes on basic computer literacy topics, and help with using the computers. For information call the Computer Help Desk at (708) 428-5171.
Printing, Scanning, and Faxing
Printouts are $0.10 per page for black and white, $0.50 per page for color.
Scanning can easily be done at the copy machine located on the second floor in the IT Commons area. Scanned documents can be saved to a USB drive for no charge.
Faxes are $1.00 per page.
Tech Center
Orland Park Public Library is embracing the next generation of technology with new additions to the Tech Center such as a Glowforge 3D Laser printer, Cricut Cutting Machine, a new MakerBot Method 3D Printer, and Mac computers.

Public Computers
Information Commons
Computers with internet access are available in the Information Commons area on the second floor and are open to users 18 years of age and older with an Orland Park Public Library card and current picture ID with proof of age. Software includes Microsoft Office 2010 and Publisher 2010. Computers are available for 1 hour sessions which may be extended if machines are available. No charge for Internet use for Orland Park Public Library cardholders.
Computers are available for non-resident patrons 18 years of age and older with a current picture ID with proof of age for a $3 charge for 1 hour of use. Internet express stations are available for non-resident patrons for no charge for 15 minutes of use. Non-resident patrons are limited to 1 computer session per day regardless of length.

Youth Services Information Commons
Computers are located on the first floor in the Youth Services Department. Internet access is filtered on these computers. Workstations are open to users 10 to 17 years old. Software includes Microsoft Office 2010 and Microsoft Publisher 2010. Computers are available for 1 hour sessions which may be extended if machines are available. No charge for YS Internet use.
Preschool iPads:
These iPads are preloaded with educational games that focus on pre-reading skills, numbers, art and more. Parents/adult caregivers must stay with the child while they are using the iPads. The iPads are available on a first come, first served basis. iPads are available to checkout for library use at the Preschool Desk.
